Run, walk, move TO help end suicide in Australia
Starting May 1st, lace up and join Stride to Survive for a month-long movement challenge to get moving and raise essential funds for mental health and suicide prevention.
We're calling on Australians to run, walk or move a collective 65,000 km - one kilometre for every person who attempts to take their life on average each year.
Our mission is simple: end suicide in Australia. Since 2018, we've been creating spaces where people can find real support, connection and courageous conversations.
Last year, we reached over 50,000 people face-to-face through our free community catch-ups. The funds raised through Stride to Survive go directly towards expanding our catch-ups into new areas across Australia, helping to provide mental health services accessible to anyone who needs them.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Step 1: Sign up on Grassrootz
Register solo or as a team — grab your mates, your family, your workmates, or join an existing crew.
Make your first donation of $100 or more on registration and you'll receive a free Stride to Survive 2026 T-Shirt.
Every participant will be added to our Stride to Survive community group for connection and updates throughout May.
Step 2: Set your goal
Every kilometre you log counts toward our collective target of 65,000 km — one for every Australian who attempted to take their life last year. Set your personal goal, start tracking, and know that every step is part of something much bigger than a number on a screen.
Step 3: Start moving
Walk, run, ride — however you move, it counts. Every kilometre you move sends a message that this cause matters, and that no one has to face their struggles alone.

Every dollar raised keeps our free community catch-ups running and brings them to more Australians who need them. Share your page, rally your network, and help us hit our fundraising goal.
