Talk2MeBro is expanding its mental health and suicide prevention programs to Canberra and Gold Coast, launching its first Community Catchup at Burley Griffin Canoe Club, and Greenmount Beach.

The organisation has been delivering programs, events, and workshops throughout New South Wales since 2019, but this represents the first Catchup program specifically established for the Australian Capital Territory, and Gold Coast community.

Talk2MeBro's reach across NSW has grown significantly, with the organisation supporting over 75,000 people through face-to-face programs over the past year. With over 100 trained facilitators state-wide, Talk2MeBro now delivers more than 300 free community events annually, working alongside councils, schools, workplaces, gyms, and sporting clubs to foster safe spaces for meaningful mental health conversations.

“Seeing the positive impact of our regular catch-ups throughout New South Wales has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re looking forward to building that same sense of connection in Canberra and the Gold Coast,” said Director, Luke Conners.

“At the heart of our work is the belief that mental health support should be easy to access. Expanding into places likeCanberra and the Gold Coast helps move us closer to a future where meaningful support and connection are available within every local community.”

The Catchups will provide residents with mental health support through relaxed conversation, breathwork exercises, and connection in a safe, non-judgmental environment, allowing participants to find solace in knowing they are not alone in their journey. All community members are welcome to attend.

The Gold Coast catchup coincides withTalk2MeBro competing in the Beach 5s Champion of Champions Trophy.
