Talk2MeBro Brings Record-Breaking Fundraising Success to Sydney South West

Following the remarkable success of raising over $180,000 across sold-out galas in Newcastle and Wollongong, Talk2MeBro is bringing its signature fundraising event to Sydney South West on November 7.

The Newcastle and Wollongong Galas demonstrated extraordinary community support for mental health initiatives, with both events selling out and raising critical funds to support Talk2MeBro's mission to reduce suicide to zero across NSW.

The Sydney South West Gala will feature an evening of connection, entertainment, and fundraising, bringing together community leaders, local businesses, and families committed to creating safe spaces for mental health conversations.

“The response from Newcastle and Wollongong has been incredible – raising over $180,000 shows just how committed our communities are in supporting mental health initiatives," said Director, Luke Conners.

"Now we're bringing that same energy to Sydney, and we know this community is just as passionate about creating change.

"Every dollar raised at our galas goes directly into supporting people who are struggling. This is a chance for the Sydney South West community to come together and show that no one has to face their battles alone."

Funds raised will directly support:

• Expansion of metropolitan mental health programs
• Training for additional facilitators across Sydney and NSW.
• Partnership initiatives with local councils, schools, workplaces and sporting clubs
• Resources and support for vulnerable community members across the region.
